Roger L. Chambers, 75, of Moundsville, WV, died Friday, May 2, 2014, at OVMC, Wheeling, WV.

He was born August 29, 1938, in Cameron, WV the son of the late Harry O. and Mary E. Rutan Chambers.

Roger was 1957 graduate of Moundsville High School and retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel of Yorkville, OH.

He was a member of The Cornerstone Church of God in Moundsville, where he loved to sing for the Lord.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd E. Chambers; three grandchildren, Matthew Chambers, Joshua and Jonah Garrison, and a great grandchild, Payton Chambers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Lorraine Gatts Chambers; two daughters, Renee (Andy) Eureka of Dallas, WV and Lori (Ward) Garrison of Proctor; four sons, Brian (Kelly) Chambers of Orrville, OH, Rodney Chambers, Darrell (Brenda) Chambers all of Moundsville, Ronald (Becky) Chambers of Glen Easton; nine grandchildren, Brian (Johnna) Chambers, Shanen, Michael, Brittany and Zech Chambers, Adam (Alicia) Eureka, Andy (Tasha) Eureka, Heather Chambers and Charlie (Ashley) Chambers; six great grandchildren, Adam, Alexis, and Anthony Eureka, Damian Harness, Nevaeh Chambers, and Ameallia Eureka.

Family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville.

Family will also receive friends Tuesday from noon until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at The Cornerstone Church of God, 1st & Poplar Avenue, Moundsville with Pastor Ron Wilfong officiating.

Interment in Greenview Cemetery, Moundsville, WV.
