Sheryl Jane Willis, 66, of Bellaire, Ohio, died suddenly Sunday, May 18, 2014, at her home.

Sheryl was born March 29, 1948, in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Floyd E. and Winifred Felitsky Clark.

She was a member of the Rock Hill Presbyterian Church, Bellaire, Ohio, where she served as a Church Elder.

She was retired from the Bellaire Board of Education where she was a third grade teacher having taught at the Indian Run School and the West Bellaire Elementary School. She was a 1966 Graduate of Powhatan High School, a 1973 Graduate of Ohio University where she went on to receive her Masters of Education and Administration Degree, a member of the Phi Delta Kappa and the Delta Kappa Gamma Sororities, a member of the Belmont County Retired Teachers Association. Sheryl loved to quilt and was a member of the Rock Hill Church Quilters.

Preceding her in death, was a brother, Darrell Cook.

Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Robert W. Willis, a son, Charles Willis, of Wheeling, WV, two brothers, Dennis (Debbie) Cook of Flushing, OH and William (Ruth Ann) Cook of Clarington, OH, three sisters; Jeanette (Pat) McHugh of Palm Coast, FL, Cynthia (Dale) Huffman of Powhatan Pt, OH, and Donna Deaton of Belmont, OH, sisters-in-law, Dorothy Cook of Leesburg, FL, and Nancy Jean Willis of Shadyside, OH, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews, many cousins, dear neighbors, and friends.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, May 20, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, from 2-8 p.m. at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441 37th St., Bellaire, Ohio where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014, with Reverend Randy Clark officiating.

Burial follows in Rock Hill Cemetery, Bellaire, Ohio.
