Violet Rose Sartori, 85, of Columbus died Tuesday, May 20, 2014.
She was born September 15, 1928, in Bellaire, OH, to the late Frank and Helen (Bartolomucci) Cerviano. She was a graduate of St. Johns High School, a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and St. Francis Seniors Club. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great- grandmother.
She was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Louis Cerviano; and her husband, Francis Paul Sartori.
She is survived by children James (Concetta), Paul (Linda), Michael (Antoinette), Thomas (Sandra) and Elaine Jackson; 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; sisters Laura Naome, Cecelia (Felix) Melaragno and Albina Giannangeli; numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014, with a prayer service at 3:45 p.m., at Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 24, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 1559 Roxbury Road. with Father Romano Ciotola celebrant. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to www.schoedinger.com.
