EDNA FINSLEY

Edna Dell Ennis Finsley, 82, of Wheeling, WV, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014, in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling.

She was born August 8, 1931, in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of the late, Frank and Victoria Bandorski Ennis.

Mrs. Finsley was a retired baker for Oglebay Park, Wheeling, and a Methodist by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Finsley; two sisters, Mary Lou Todd and Pauline Wallace.

Surviving are her children, Junior Finsley and his wife, Alice “Snipes” of Windsor Heights, WV, Sue Carney and her husband, Lawrence of West Liberty, WV and Henry Finsley and his wife, Liz of Wheeling, WV; two brothers, Frank Ennis and his wife, Betty Lou and Lous Ennis all of Wheeling; two sisters, Barbara Carlton and her husband, Matthew of Hutington, WV; and Dolores “Dee” Schuetz and her husband, James of Florida; 10 grandchildren, 21 great- grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at the Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Ave., Wheeling, (304-277-2722) where service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Dennis Arnold officiating. Interment in Short Creek Cemetery, Short Creek, WV.
