DORIS MAGERS

Doris V. (Shaeffer) Vogelsang-Magers, 83, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on July 2, 2014, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

She was born on January 2, 1931, in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Ira and Gladys Dulaney Shaeffer.

She was a homemaker and a Presbyterian by faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Vogelsang; her second husband, Edward F. Magers; a step-son, Gene Magers; and five brothers.

Surviving are two sons, Edward Magers and his wife Vickie of Barnesville, OH, John Vogelsang and his wife Debbie of Corpus Christi, TX; a daughter-in-law, Jill Magers of Mt. Olivet; two daughters, Frances Wolfe and her husband Terry of Moundsville, Vicki Frohnapfel of Scottdale, PA; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends received from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2014, at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling. where funeral services will be held Monday, July 7, 2014, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Edwin Keel S.M. officiating.

Interment will take place at Halycon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard, WV.
