DANIEL DROWNE

Daniel Kerr Drowne, 67, Wheeling, WV, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, in the Wheeling Hospital.

He was born on July 11, 1947, in Miami, FL, son of the late Alton and Beatrice Saad Drowne.

Mr. Drowne was a Prosthetist for the Hanger Clinic, a member of the Covenant Community Church and a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Cheryl Lynn Harter Drowne, three sons, Toby Drowne, of Lakeville, NY, Chris (Dawn) Dunaway, of Wheeling, WV, and Tim (Caroline) Dunaway, of Suwanee, GA. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Ryan, Luke, Christian and Julia Dunaway.

Friends will be received on Friday, August 22, 2014, from 5-8 p.m. at Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26003, (304.232.2732).

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Covenant Community Church, 250 Bethany Pike Road, Wheeling, WV, with Pastor Adam Mick officiating.

Memorial contributions can be made to either the American Business Women’s Association, SBMEF or the American Cancer Society.
