Eileen Mae Patrone (McKeever) Zavislak, 78, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, West Virginia.
She was born April 20, 1936 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Michael Thomas and Angela Marie Shirretta Patrone.
Eileen was a retired office manager for the Belmont County Water and Sewage Authority, a member of the St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Colerain, Ohio. She was a graduate of Bellaire High School, Class of 1954, where she was a cheerleader and 1953 Homecoming Queen and always an avid Big Reds fan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Zavislak, Sr. on April 27, 2006 and two sisters, Sylvia Fry and Marian Phillips.
Surviving are her sons, Mark (Jennifer) McKeever of St. Clairsville, Ohio and Jack (Cher) McKeever, Jr. of Shadyside, Ohio, her sister, Sandy (Charles) Wilson of Colerain, Ohio and three stepdaughters, Mary Jo (Michael) Kohlas, Theresa Dauteuil-Shaw and Christine Parrott, one stepson, Lt. Colonel Paul A. (Nancy) Zavislak, Jr. Also three grandchildren, Cody, Max and Angelina McKeever, seven step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio on Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. at the St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Colerain, Ohio with Fr. Timothy McGuire, as Celebrant. Entombment in the Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
