Virginia M. Bonfini, 88, of Township Road 9, Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, West Virginia.

She was born at Bloomfield, Ohio on February 27, 1926 a daughter of the late Thomas and Minnie Pearl Lippencott McClintock.

Virginia was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Christian Church, Woodsfield, Ohio. She was a devoted, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to fish, camp, needlepoint, cook, and bake prize winning pies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Bonfini Sr., and her former husband, Harry J. Baker and a loving son, Thomas Bonfini; four sisters, Mary Lou McClintock, Garnet St. John, Lucille Gust Bennington and Verena Koonce; two sons-in law: John Prout and Ed D’Aquila Sr.

Surviving are two daughters, Carol Prout of Woodsfield, Ohio, Fran D’Aquila of Shadyside, Ohio; one son, Phillip Joseph (Lesley) of Woodsfield, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Terriann P. Bonfini of Bellaire, Ohio, 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 S.R. 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2014 where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2014 with Hubert Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Miltonsburg Cemetery, Miltonsburg, Ohio.
