NANCY HAHNE

Nancy Lee Hahne, 77, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Wheeling, WV, died peacefully at her home in Sarasota, FL.

She was born on March 18, 1939, in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of the late Elwood “Andy” Andreas and Lucille Lagomarcino Andreas. She was a 1957 graduate of Warwood High School.

She was retired from Bearings, Inc. and was a Lutheran by faith. She had an unconditional love for her dogs, Lindy and Lucy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Hahne; a brother, David Allen Andreas; and a brother-in-law, Fred Ernest.

Survivors include a sister, Linda Ernest of Wheeling; a sister-in-law, Mary Andreas of Wheeling; three nephews: Chuck (Diane) Ernest, Chet (Chrystal) Ernest, and David Miller, all of Wheeling; two nieces: Tracie (Bob) McDonough of Pittsburgh, PA and Cathy (Scott) Connors of Wheeling; 10 great-nephews: Chet Ernest, Jr., Chad Ernest, Corey Ernest, Carson Ernest, Melia Miller, Zachary McDonough, Matthew McDonough, Gillian Connors, Sophia Connors, and Adam Connors; a very special friend and caregiver, Tony Sabbatis of Sarasota, FL; and best friends Suzie Davis of Sarasota, FL, and Mary White of Phoenix, AZ.

Friends will be received on Monday, February 20, 2017, from 2-6 p.m. at Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Ave., Wheeling, WV, where services will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 10 a.m. with Pastor R. Paul Schafer officiating.

Interment will follow in Greenwood cemetery.
