Gerard H. Joseph, 64, born February 26, 1953, passed away unexpectedly on April 15, 2017.

He was born in Wheeling, WV, the son of the late Edward and Edith Joseph.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Stephanie G. Joseph, daughter Alicia (Andrew) and their sons Jack and Charlie, daughter Tessa, son Justin (Malia) and their daughter Ruby, son Eli (Mary) and their son Tristan, sisters, Jana and CeCe, brothers, E.J. and Tim, aunt, Teresa Regoli, and nephews, Jeffery, Kevin, Ashur and Zion.

He was a member of Corpus Christi Church and Our Lady of Lebanon. Gerard was a graduate of The Linsly Institute, class of 1971. He was the owner of Joseph Contracting and spent the last 20 years of his life in construction. He was a man of many talents and skills. His early life endeavors included becoming a black belt in martial arts, working as a deep water diver and obtaining his private pilot license. He was a musician at heart, known for playing the acoustic guitar and gifted with a wonderful singing voice. He had traveled around the country and enjoyed sharing the stories of his many adventures.

Friends will be received on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Avenue, Wheeling, WV 26003, where services will be held Friday April 21, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Monsignor Bakos Chidiac officiating.

A luncheon will follow the service at Our Lady of Lebanon Church 2216 Eoff Street, Wheeling, WV 26003.
