James Arthur Kull Sr. died at the age of 71 on June 12, 2017 in Bradenton, FL.
James was born on April 13, 1946 and grew up with his parents Walter and Gladys Kull in Brilliant, OH. James achieved academic excellence on mathematics and enjoyed a career with Wheeling Steel, ultimately retiring from Tropicana. He served in both the Navy and Navy Reserves for decades. His true passion was his love of automobiles and family. James served as a Deacon for the First Presbyterian Church in Ohio.
James is survived by his beloved wife, Geraldine Kull, his two sons, James A Kull, Jr. and Jason A Kull, his three step-sons, Michael, Mark, and Gregory Grendel. His treasures are his grandchildren: Brandon Kull, Brooke Kull, Carsyn Kull, James A Kull III “Trey”, Jacob Kull, Kimberly Sugden, Joey Grendel, James Paul Grendel, Kailee Grendel, Kyle Grendel, Kelsey Grendel.
The family will receive friends at 3 p.m. on Monday, June 19 with a Celebration of Life at First Presbyterian Church, 1402 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, FL.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to The Gramatica Family Foundation in his memory.
