Bonnie Morgan Clutter, 90, of Harrisburg, Pa., died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, in her home.
She was born Oct. 1, 1927, in East Liverpool, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Maude Morgan.
Bonnie was a graduate of East Liverpool High School and later retired from the Waterford Downs (now Mountaineer Park) in New Cumberland, W.Va., and from the Wheeling Park Commission. During World War II, she worked in Washington, D.C., for the Department of Defense. In addition to her parents, her husband, Alvin B. Clutter; a son, Patrick Clutter; and three brothers, Ted, Bill, Ralph and Tom Morgan, precede her in death.
Three children, Michael Clutter of Minneola, Fla.; Candace Clutter of Harrisburg, Pa.; Martin “Chip” Clutter of Clinton, Pa.; and a daughter-in-law, Angie Clutter of Wheeling survive her.
She was a grandmother to 10 grandchildren (Steffi Bevec of Daytona Beach, Fla.; Stacy Smith of Harrisburg, Pa; Melissa Rogers of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; Matthew Clutter of Pensacola, Fla.; Mark Clutter of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; Crissy Clutter of Wheeling; Kelly Clutter of Wheeling; Patrick Clutter of Wheeling; Emily Clutter of Lisbon, Ohio; and Caydee Clutter of New Cumberland, W.Va.) and nine great grandchildren.
A private service will be held at Arner Funeral Home, and she will be buried next to her husband of 69 years in Hillcrest Cemetery.
