Nicholas Greco, 69, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, entered into Heaven on December 4, 2017 surrounded by his wife and children after a yearlong battle with cancer.

Nick was born in Cincinnati, OH on May 20, 1948, to the late Nicholas and Dorothy Greco.

Nick proudly served his country in the Marine Corps. Nick also worked as a lineman for CG&E Power Company in Cincinnati, and moved on to become business manager of IBEW Local 1347. He then held the position of IBEW International Representative until his retirement.

Nick loved spending time with his wife and friends, traveling in their RV. He also loved his airedales, Toulee Marie and Lexee, who brought smiles to his life daily.

Nick was a wonderful father who fostered strength, resiliency and love in his children. He taught his children to live life to the fullest, to find the joy in everything, to work hard, and most importantly, to be kind. His wisdom, strength and kindness as a Marine, a man and father will be missed by all of those who knew him.

Nick is survived by his wife, Trudy (Hale) Greco; sons, Nicholas (Bonnie) Greco of Cincinnati, Jerry Carubia of Westlake, OH; daughters, Christina (John) Greco Northlich, Stephanie (Mark) Wright of Cincinnati, OH, Nicole (Jeff) DiPasquale of Toronto, OH. Grandchildren include Ashley (Jacob) Weemes of Toledo, OH, Logan Nothlich, Anna Greco, Lauren Greco, Caleb Joo, all of Cincinnati, OH, and Matthew Carubia of Kent, Ohio. Siblings include sister, Gloria Stulz of Alexandria, KY, and brothers, Thomas, Anthony, Michael, Steven and Allen Greco, all of Cincinnati, OH; as well as many wonderful cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received for a memorial visitation on Sunday, December 10 at Toothman Funeral Home, 141 S. Marietta St. in St. Clairsville, OH from 4-5 p.m., at which time Wayne Clark will officiate services and Military Honors will be conducted.
