Arlie Alton Kittle, 91, of Cameron, WV, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018, in Cameron Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

He was born April 27, 1926 in Cameron, the son of the late Silas Burns and Ella Viola Henceroth Kittle.

He was a Methodist by faith; worked as a civilian in the Pearl Harbor Ship Yard, following the bombing of Pearl Harbor; was a retired foreman from Mountaineer Carbon Company/ BP Oil; a farmer; a member of WV Cattleman’s Association, Northern Panhandle Stockman’s Accociation and Marshall County Farm Bureau.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Forrest, Harlan, Francis, and Wayne Kittle; and an infant sister, Dorothy Kittle.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Marjorie Jean Allen Kittle; five children, Connie (David) Butler of Cameron, Cristy (Paul) McCombs of Beckley, WV, Cathy (Gary) Gallagher of Wexford, PA, Carol (Rick) Robinson of Triadelphia, WV, and Philip (Deborah) Kittle of Cameron; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grand children; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Thursday from 3-7 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Donald Thomas officiating.

Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard.
