John Benjamin Miller, 89, of Clarington, OH, passed away Feb. 7, 2018, at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born April 2, 1928, in Clarington, OH, a son of the late Harry D. and Hazel B. Mobley Miller.
He was a retired general foreman for Conalco Aluminum Co..
He was a member of the Living Water Baptist Church of Sardis, OH; a member of the Wednesday Night Bowling and Mens League at Russell Center Bowling Lanes in Woodsfield, OH; and a member of the Golden Bowlers at St. Clairsville Bowling Lanes.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step mother, Jessie Headley Miller; brothers, Damon S. Miller and Earl E. Miller; and sister, Ila June Collins.
Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Lillian Miller; three children, Jackie (Mike) Marola of Woodsfield, OH, Jerri (Ken) Jones of Clarington, OH, and John A. “Butch” (Janice) Miller of Clarington, OH; seven grandchildren, Pamala (Jeff) Scultz, Kenneth J. (Heather) Jones, Rodney Jones, Randy (Tiffany) Jones, Matthew (Cynthia) Burkhart, Alissa Miller, and Heath A. (Keri) Miller; three sisters, Marilyn Stauffer of Arkansas, Romona Miller of Laurelville, OH, and Evalena Smith of Ashland, OH; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Living Water Baptist Church, 37453 St. Rt. 7, Sardis, OH, with Pastor James Ng officiating.
Interment will follow in Clarington Cemetery, Clarington, OH.
