LINDSEY SCOTT

She was born June 20, 1970 in Morgantown, WV the daughter of Joy Long High of Belmont, OH and Philip D. High of Wheeling, WV and was a Catholic by faith.

Lindsey was a high school graduate of Wheeling Park High School in Wheeling, WV and was a receptionist for Dr. Philip High, DDS and Dr. Alex High, DDS. She loved her family, her dogs and her cats. She was a board member and volunteer for the Soup Kitchen of Greater Wheeling and was an avid West Virginia Mountaineer fan.

Preceding her in death were her maternal grandfather, Clarence Long and her paternal grandparents, Harold and Mary “Jerry” Ashworth and Curtis and Ramona High.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Stephen A. Scott; her three brothers, Jeremy (Holly) High, Luke High and Alex High and his fiancee, Lauren Young all of Wheeling, WV; her niece and nephews, Addison, Cooper and Braxton; her maternal grandmother, Jean “Mimi” Long of Wheeling, WV; her two aunts, Kristi Long of Wheeling, WV and Nancy Knight of Moundsville, WV; her two uncles, Ronald (Joan) High of Mansfield, OH and Roger (Minnie) High of St. Clairsville, OH.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 for a memorial visitation from 2 p.m. until time of memorial service at 5 p.m. at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St, Wheeling, WV (304 242-2311) with the Reverend Margie Carr officiating.

Friends are invited to celebrate Lindsey’s life following the funeral service at the Wheeling Country Club, Oglebay Drive, Wheeling, WV.
