Harold T. Warner, 78, of Alma departed this life Monday, August 13, 2018 at his home.

He was born June 3, 1940 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Earl and Hattie Nichols Warner.

Harold was a retired employee of Witco, Sistersville. He had been a member of the board of directors, Council of Senior Tyler Countians, he was a member of the Alma Senior Citizens. Harold was one of the founders of the Tyler County Speedway and had been a board member of the Tyler County Fair Association.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Thomas E. Warner; two brothers; Howard and Homer Warner; five sisters; Erma and Mildred Spencer and three infant sisters.

Harold is survived by his wife, Bessie Ash Haught Warner; two sons; Clifford (Martha) Warner, Friendly and Andrew (Amy) Haught, Alma; a daughter Afton (Mark) Headley, Alma; grandchildren; Hannah (Paul) Kirk, Meggie Warner, Peyton Headley, Leia Headley and Jennifer Haught. Several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Furbee Funeral Home, Route 18, Tyler. A grave side service will be held at Big Run Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
