Geraldine J. Revay, 85, of Paris, PA passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at Liza’s Place, Wheeling, WV.
She was born November 5, 1932 in Cedar Grove, PA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Zoe Delahaut Donovall. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Edward Revay (2008); son-in-law, Mark Bischof; sister, Josephine Baker; brothers, Joseph, Leo, John Donovall.
Gerry was a faithful member of Paris Presbyterian Church, where she served as Sunday school treasurer for many years. Member of the faithful servants, quilt club, Thursday mat making club. She was the salutatorian of her Avella, PA graduating class.
She was a stay-at-home mother of five children who was always involved with her family. She made sure that all five graduated from college. Gerry was instrumental in the formation of the Hanover girls softball league.
Surviving are her daughters, Dr. Janet Bischof of Wheeling, WV, Susan Pascasio of DesMoines, IA, Marie Bell Brown (Dennis) of Monroe, NC; sons, Robert Revay (Deanna) of Forest, VA, Thomas Revay (Mary) of Fairfax, VA; grandchildren, Thomas, Daniel, Victoria, Jessica (Charles), Jason (Ilka), Becky (Cameron), Tracy, Lauren (Josh), Nikki (Justin), Phillip; and 11 great- grandchildren; brother, Neal Donovall (Melva) of Burgettstown, PA.
Visitation will be Sunday September 9, 2018 5-8 p.m. at Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV. Additional visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral at 11 a.m. at Paris Presbyterian Church, Paris, PA with Reverend Susan Spencer-Smith presiding. Burial will be at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Florence, PA.
