Mary Frances (Maltese) Criminski, 87, resident of (Warwood), Wheeling, WV, died Monday, September 3, 2018, at Pickerington Care and Rehabilitation in Pickerington, Ohio.
Mary was born May 20, 1931, in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of the late Nicola and Grace Maltese.
She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy in Wheeling, WV.
Mary was warm and kind-hearted, a selfless person who deeply loved her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and was an avid reader.
Mary was an active member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church and Grade School as School Librarian and member of the Ladies Guild. She was a secretary with Robert Wrenn Realty and a bookkeeper for the IBEW 141 Federal Credit Union.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Louis Criminski; three children, Scott (Charmain Wardley) Criminski of The Woodlands, TX, Karen Criminski Dickman (fiance, Edward Knickerbocker, II) of Charles Town, WV, David (Patty Grubler) Criminski of Pickerington OH; nine grand children: Matt, Danny and Drew Criminski; Jamie and Jessica-Rose Wardley; Brian and Eric Dickman; Jacob and Sarah Criminski; one Great Grandson Logan Wardley; one sister, Roseann (Warren) Watt of Follansbee, WV and their children, Terri (John) Walker, Patty (Bob) Wilson, Michael (Christy) Watt and their children.
Family and friends will be received at the Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Avenue, Wheeling, WV 26003, (304) 277-2722 on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with Father Paul M. as celebrant.
Entombment to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
