Wallace K. Reese, 84, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Huntington, WV.
He was involved in an automobile accident on August 16, and life-flighted to Huntington where he passed away due to complications from the accident.
He was born on June 25, 1934, in Mannington, WV, son of the late Orval and Inez Reese.
Wally was retired from Mobay Corp. in New Martinsville, WV. and served in the National Guard for eight years.
In Wally”s younger years, he played trumpet in the National Guard Band. He was alert to the history of the nation, past and present, and an avid Donald Trump supporter. He loved his cats, his friends, Gold Wing motorcycles, and his BMW cars, especially his Roadster. For years, he provided transportation for local citizens who needed medical attention to the doctor.
He is survived by two daughters, Kyla Rose O’Dell of Houston, Texas and Ann Adele Landers of New Martinsville, WV; one sister, Roberta Louise Reese of Marietta, Ohio; two grandchildren, John and Kim Nuevo.
He will be sadly missed by his sister and all of his friends.
Wally donated his body to medical science at WVU, Morgantown and will be cremated.
