Steven James Eisenhauer, 71, formerly of Moundsville, WV and Cincinnati, OH, died Thursday, October 11, 2018 in Gulf Coast Medical Center, Fort Myers, FL.

He was born February 5, 1947 in Dayton, OH, the son of the late Paul and Mary Alice Ritzert Eisenhauer.

He was a retired Assistant VP Application Manger with American Modern Life Insurance Company; a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Bonita Springs, FL; he collected Fostoria and Rinconada Figurines, and was an active member of the Fostoria Society; was a Bocce Player, a gardener; an avid hiker; loved life, the beach, shelling, anything West Virginia and Moundsville; and especially loved being a part of both communities in WV and FL.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Karen Rich Eisenhauer, two children, Neil Steven (Lindzey) Eisenhauer, and Jill Suzanne Eisenhauer, all of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Dominic Pittman, and Izabella and Gabriella Eisenhauer; three brothers, David (Louise) Eisenhauer of Columbia, SC, John (Karen) Eisenhauer of Melburn, FL, and Mark Eisenhauer of Oakridge, TN; former sister-in-law, Sally Eisenhauer; numerous nieces and nephews; trusted and beloved friends, Bill Bouldin, and Mike Henderson; and his beloved kittens.

Family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, where Rosary Devotions will be held at 7 p.m.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 610 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville with Fr. That Son Ngoc Nguyen officiating.

Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
