James “Jim” Yoho, 75, of Moundsville, passed away Friday, April 12, 2019 at home.

He was born June 13, 1943 in Glen Dale, WV son of the late Beuford and Helen Schriner Yoho.

Jim was a retired welder/insulator from the former Mobay Chemical Co., he attended Simpson United Methodist Church, was a member of the Earl Francis Post #3, American Legion and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping golfing, watching WV football and basketball and the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Pirates.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son: James “Bowie” Yoho and two brothers: Jerry and Greg Yoho.

Survivors include his wife, of 55 years, Sandy Jones Yoho; one daughter: Suzette (Butch) Turkoly of Neffs, OH; one granddaughter: Colby (Matthew) Janowiecki of Swanton, OH; two great grandchildren: Jace and Jordyn Janowiecki; one nephew: Dan (Teresa) Yoho and their son Bodhi Yoho of Moundsville; one niece Julie (Brandon) South of Spring Hill, TN; two sisters-in-law: Liz Yoho and Marlene Yoho, both of Moundsville and special friends: Bob and Judy Balgo.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6 p.m. at Simpson United Methodist Church, 800 7th Street, Moundsville with Pastor Dennis Mehaffie officiating.

The Moundsville Honor Guard will conduct Military Services following the Memorial Service at church.

Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Feeding Body and Soul Community Kitchen or Simpson United Methodist Church, both located at 800-7th Street, Moundsville, WV 26041.
