West Liberty University Celebrates a Milestone

Five years ago this weekend, one of the oldest, most respected institutions in our area took a giant leap. West Liberty State College became West Liberty University.

Since then, officials, staff and students have made important strides forward – while keeping WLU one of the most affordable places we know to obtain a college degree.

One signal of growth will occur Monday, when the new $23 million Campbell Hall of Health Sciences is dedicated. It is the first new building used strictly for academic purposes to be opened on the campus since 1975.

Congratulations, then, to all involved in WLU’s very successful first five years as a university.

Keep up the good work!
