Out-of-Town Ideas Can Be Productive

A reader who has been following development of a new comprehensive plan for Wheeling contacted us this week about public input on the document. Not a resident of the city, he wondered if Wheeling officials are interested in comments on the plan from people like him.

Of course they are. While the comprehensive plan is of direct importance to Wheeling residents and businesses, input from others may be extremely helpful. Their views on issues such as transportation and making the city more attractive as a place to live could be invaluable.

If you have a comment on the plan – no matter where you live – you can submit it until Sept. 15. Comments can be e-mailed to tconnelly@wheelingwv.gov, or sent by regular mail to 1500 Chapline St., Room 305, Wheeling, WV 26003.
