Children Being Killed In Abortions, Too
Jan. 22, marked the 40th anniversary of Roe V. Wade, the Supreme Court ruling that legalized abortion on demand. As a result of that decision, we have seen the senseless killing of 55 million young ones as they nestled in their mothers’ wombs.
Less than two months ago, 20 Sandy Hook school children in Newtown, Conn., were shot and killed by a crazy person. America was shocked and outraged by the untimely deaths of these youngsters. And rightfully so. Still, every TEN MINUTES in the United States, 20 children are killed, not by a madman with a gun, but by doctors with suction machines, knives, saline solutions, or scissors. Yet, unlike the Connecticut tragedy, their deaths are totally ignored by the liberal news media, politicians, and many Americans.
Being shot to death is horrible. However, being aborted is just as horrendous, perhaps even more so considering these children die because their bodies are torn apart or cut into pieces, or their skin is burned off with a saline solution, or their brains are sucked out.
Nevertheless, despite the brutality of abortion, it is still legal throughout the whole nine months of pregnancy. And aside from being legal, it’s celebrated by nearly 50 percent of the American people. Even our President, Barack Obama, says the right of a mother to kill her child is a good thing, and he would never prevent even his own grandchild from being killed by abortion.
Every day in this country abortionists murder approximately 3,000 babies. So far, 55 million lives have been denied the right to be born, to have a first birthday, to go to school, to get a job, or to have the opportunity to simply just grow old. This is the reality of 40 years of legalized killing.
Where is the anger? Where is the outrage? Where is the remorse? It’s interesting to note that after the Connecticut shootings our nation is demanding better protection for children, and at the same time still supports the right to kill them.
