Stop Separations Of

Children From Parents

As a veteran, I feel a moral obligation to take a stand against the Trump Administration’s awful policy of separating children from their parents at the U.S./Mexico border. This policy resembles some of the worst regimes of the 20th and 21st centuries, regimes many Americans fought and died to defeat. This should not be who we are. Yet, it is being done in our name.

What is worse is that this administration is lying about who is to blame. They don’t even have the courage to take ownership of it.

Congress can stop the Trump Administration. They have the power to do more than tweet or write strongly-worded letters. And they have to know this is what we demand. Our military deploys overseas to bring freedom to families around the world and to help keep them safe. At home, we are tearing them apart. This has got to stop.
