I used to live at the Welty Home on Washington Avenue. Many of us would walk to the Dollar Store over the bridge. Most of us had walkers. Along the side of the walking area there is a dangerous problem. A lot of the cement on the edge has come loose and fallen off.

When residents walk, there is a chance their walkers’ wheels will go into these openings and they may fall and be seriously injured. I brought this to the attention of the road department in an email approximately two years ago and nothing has been done. This could be a very sad problem and very expensive if someone should get hurt on city property. I felt it my duty to bring this to your attention. I’m sure with your history you will be able to bring this to the right people.
