I am writing this letter about the ridiculous way the Jefferson extension road goes from Moundsville onto Route 2. I have not talked to a single person that has not commented on how dangerous this intersection was designed. Recently, a car going south on Route 2 and was turning onto the Jefferson extension almost hit my car head-on. This is not the first time that people going south on Route 2 has turned onto the wrong lane. A person has a hard time trying to distinguish where the proper lane goes.
The intersection is designed so that a person going south on Route 2 has a hard time staying in the proper lane when turning onto the intersection. This intersection is poorly designed and will be a scene of a serious wreck. Surely there must be someone in West Virginia that can design an intersection properly.
