Finding a new fire chief

Wheeling City Manager Bob Herron is continuing the process of elimination in his search for a new fire chief. Word has it the list of possibilities is down to seven current firefighters. It seems Herron has enlisted some help in making his choice. Retired fire chief Cliff Sligar has reportedly been sitting in on the interview process as he is familiar with all the candidates. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes. All of the guys in line for the job are worthy candidates and the decision will not be an easy one. Good luck to all of them.
