Halftime: WLU Leads State, 42-30

Tim Hausfeld hit four 3-pointers and had 13 points and John Wolosinczuk continued his dominance on the boards with nine rebounds as West Liberty took a 12-point lead into halftime of the WVC Tournament Championship game against West Virginia State.

The dozen-point lead is by far the Hilltoppers' largest halftime lead of the tournament. In their first two games, they led by two and one point. The key was a 21-5 run that spanned from the 8:21 mark to 1:27 that featured three treys by Hausfeld and two by Barry Shetzer.

The Hilltoppers are gunning for their first tourney title since 1971.
