| | Very Poor SportsNovember 8, 2011 - Heather Ziegler The Linsly School's trouncing of Wheeling Central's football team last weekend must have been a pretty bitter pill for some people to swallow. When players and students returned to the Linsly campus after the game on Wheeling Island, their cars had been viciously egged with empty egg cartons strewn about the parking lot and school campus. While I do not know who is responsible for this, someone does. If this was supposed to be a prank, it's not funny. Eggs will damage the finish on a car. It was done on purpose with damage in mind. While the culprits may think they got away with this lousy act, little do they know that when anyone buys that many eggs, it raises concern. And the purchases are caught on tape at the store. I'm surprised the crime hasn't been posted on Facebook. I graduated from Central where Christian behavior was supposedly instilled. What happened to that? Maybe it's just a few bad eggs, pardon the pun, but they need to be weeded out if Central is going to maintain a healthy and wholesome reputation in this valley.
