| | Peace in 2012December 23, 2011 - Joselyn KingAs the song says: "Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me." Inner peace is what we always should most hope for, and what many seemingly need in these times. As we worry for the safety of our soldiers overseas, we also have to ask ourselves what we ourselves are doing to achieve peace. Does this mean being kinder and more patient with our neighbor? Does it mean biting our tongue (or slapping our typing fingers) when we are about to voice a negative or hurtful statement? Does it mean looking for positive solutions? As we approach the 2012 election season, it's most certain some unpeaceful thoughts will be expressed in the coming months. May there be peace (and credible candidates) elected in 2012.
