It's still blue and gold at WVU

April 24, 2008 - Heather Ziegler
There is tarnish on the flying WVU logo these days as news shakes out about Heather Bresch and her ability to obtain a master's degree that has been proven she did not earn. Now the reputation of West Virginia University must be restored at all costs. It's a slap in the face to thousands of hard-working students who have spent countless hours and money to honestly obtain that precious degree. How would you like to a 2008 graduate of WVU seeking a job at this very moment? The state of West Virginia has enough undeserved, pre-conceived notions floating around the country, we surely didn't need this scandal. And whatever you may think, it will be remembered as a scandal. I certainly hope that employers out there are as sympathetic to new WVU grads as Mylan Inc. executive are to Bresch.
