Don't forget to relay

It's almost that time again. Ohio County Relay For Life will hold its annual fund-raising event next Friday, Aug. 8 at Wheeling Park. If you have been touched by cancer in any way, whether yourself, a family member, a friend or co-worker, you can find some healing, peace and hope at the Relay event. It's a truly wonderful event that hundreds of people attend and support starting on Friday evening and continuing all night long, ending in the dawning hours. Don't get me wrong. This event is touching AND a great bunch of fun as so many people set up some clever booths where you can play games, buy raffle tickets on the best baskets of goodies anywhere or simply walk a few laps around the lake to honor a cancer victim or survivor.
