"Tanger"-ine Dream

September 28, 2008 - Phyllis Sigal
I thought I had died and gone to shoppers' heaven.

I stopped by the new Tanger Outlets near the Meadowlands on Saturday, and was I impressed!

It wasn't just the discounted prices, but it was the cleanliness, the ease of navigation and the variety of stores that really attracted me.

And the restrooms had a really great feature. In each stall was an area with rails in which to store your purchases! What a great idea! Also, the rest rooms were plentiful and easy to find.

There's also lots of parking, and it's easy to figure out where you want to park because signs direct you as to which stores are where even before you get out of your car.

It was really easy to find my way around as I wandered, alone (no one to pull me this way or that, no one ready to leave, no one to talk me out of a purchase!) for a couple of hours Saturday afternoon. Even with my terrible sense of direction, I never felt as if I was lost. In most malls, I'll walk out of a store and not know which way I've been. But I could actually find my way around and even back to a store I wanted to check out again!

Some of my favorite stores can be found here: Banana Republic Factory Store, Gap Outlet, Converse, Hanes ... too many to even name.

Check it out, it's great! I'm ready to start my holiday shopping already!
