I was ready

I was ready for the snowstorm. I prepared food ahead. I caught up on the washing. I loaded the flashlights and radio with batteries. I put in a supply of bottled water and I pulled out some extra blankets. I am extremely grateful to say that we did not lose power at our home. We did lose cable and telephone and Internet service -- bummer. I cannot say enough about those guys from AEP and the guys cutting the trees. I live in a rural area and the trucks ran up and down my road to reach those in need all day Sunday and Monday and today. I imagine they are pretty tired. I don't know what tomorrow (Wednesday) will bring but I am as ready as I can be. Are you? I am more afraid oft the wind than snow. Please be careful out there.
