Nailers complete trade with Inferno
The Wheeling Nailers announced they have acquired the rights to Tyson Marsh (D), Julien Bouillette (D), and Steve McJannett (F) from the Columbia Inferno to complete a trade deadline deal that sent Jeremy Swanson and Chris Brooks to Columbia.
Marsh, 23, appeared in 61 games for the Inferno with three goals and 14 assists for 17 points and 126 penalty minutes in 2007-08. Marsh is a three-year veteran who is currently playing in the AHL with the Rockford Icehogs.
Brouillette, 20, finished his rookie season with 17 points in 67 games, after a very successful Canadian Juniors career with Chicoutimi.
Steve McJannett, 26, appeared in 54 games for Columbia with 16 goals and 20 assists for 36 points and 105 penalty minutes in the 2007-08 regular season. McJannett is a second-year player out of Lake Superior State who was second on the team in points during the 2008 playoffs.
