WVU-they did not know much about concussion/brain injury many years ago. Or rather it did not get much attention-except when the injury produced coma. It seems to be taken more seriously in diagnosing and treatment in athletes, particularly, professional athletes. Much is being done with vets, but again, the general population is still not getting good treatment. I hope, and expect this will change in the future. Glad you had good dr's standing up for you.

@Bloomin: I went on-line medical search and the medication given to me by the State of WV could have been Dilantin, I was 12-14 years old don't remember much but the pills were 3 sided triangles and yellow in color; Whatever it was they should have talked with the Clinic before taking over any treatment or responsibility before giving their offthecuff diagnoses and see you next week monitoring. Says on the site Not for Brain Injuries by concussion, very, very dangerous.
