so, if you die, shouldn't your estate and heirs be required to pay for the portion of past war debts you escaped ?

icecream “HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN THE DEBT OUR PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS LAID ON US FOR WWI, WWII, AND THE KOREAN WAR???”

Check out how much debt those wars “laid on us” and get back to me. Because you’ll find those $6 TRILLION Obamabucks Barry spent on buying votes for himself makes those wars look like pocket change.

wonderwhy, so you brainwashed your children to be Obamazombies, too. Do they hire union OR non-union subcontractors whichever is cheaper like you do, or do they live on the public dole like most Obamazombies? Sad.

TrollSlayer;

HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN THE DEBT OUR PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS LAID ON US FOR WWI, WWII, AND THE KOREAN WAR???

WE WERE INFORMED IN HS, THAT WE, OUR CHILDREN, AND GRANDCHILDREN WOULD BE PAYING THESE DEBTS OF WAR...

AND, FOR THOSE WARS---TAXES WERE RAISED AND BONDS WERE SOLD...

IT JUST GOES TO SHOW YOU--WE CAN PAY OFF ANY DEBT IF WE ARE EMPLOYED AND PAY TAXES AND KEEP SPENDING DOWN!!!

BTW, Social Security Insurance, (SS)I has never contributed to the National debt--so LEAVE SS OFF THE BARGAINING TABLE...

@WRAITH; 77% of America is getting a tax increase.

ARE YOU TRYING TO TWIST THINGS?

If you are referring to the PAYROLL TAX RETURN TO NORMAL RATE, it was A CUT meant to be temporary as a stimulus--never as permanent! So--if you are calling that a tax increase on 77% of the people THINK AGAIN!

IT IS A RETURN TO NORMAL, THE RATE WE ALL HAVE PAID, FOR YEARS!!!

HuffPost's Michael McAuliff and Sabrina Siddiqui reported on Tuesday night: *** Republicans in the House spent much of Tuesday threatening to blow up the bill over the the lack of spending cuts. They went so far as to propose amending the measure with a $328 billion package of budget reductions, but facing the likelihood that a revised measure would fail muster with Democrats, caved in after two lengthy meetings behind closed doors*** ***Having lost a battle that many of them fought for years, the GOP was looking forward to future chances to extract cuts, likely setting up more last-second showdowns in March. That's because the two-month delay of the sequester ends March 3, right around the time the nation is expected to reach its borrowing limit -- which Congress has to extend to pay the bills. Funding for the federal government also runs out on March 27... ***House GOP leaders taking opposite sides on the measure sparked speculation on the significance of the split...

Since the duwhops of the world blamed Obama for the market crash, I do wonderwhy they don't credit him for gains. hmmmmmm........LOL

Hyper Inflation right around the corner, this year or next. Watch the inflated gains from today's rally dissipate rapidly. Most will see their purchasing power wiped out.

Zimbabwe is the word.....

"Stock Market up over 300 points! Thanks Obama!"

Yes, Wall Street loves all that free money there getting. A shame it's middle/lower income classes and seniors that end up paying for it.

So when Republicans compromise to accept the Democrit Senate’s deal, which provides some stability that causes the market to go up, wonderwizard thanks the one individual most responsible for introducing all that instability in the first place. Unreal.

Maddie “I know it is better to be a Democrat, not an "old white man" who has no regard for the rank and file.”

Interesting you differentiate by age, race, and gender. Which makes you ageist, racist, and sexist. In other words, a typical Democrit.

By the way, you owe Joe Biden, Harry Reid, and Janet Napolitano an apology.

Blunderlie, what part of the myth of the "Clinton Surplus" don't you understand. REAL deficits under Clinton: (Treasury dot gov)

1994 $281.26 Billion

1995 $281.23 Billion

1996 $250.83 Billion

1997 $188.34 Billion

1998 $113.05 Billion

1999 $130.08 Billion

2000 $17.91 Billion

2001 $133.29 Billion

As can clearly be seen, in no year did the national debt go down, nor did Clinton leave President Bush with a surplus that Bush subsequently turned into a deficit.

Yes, the deficit was almost eliminated in FY2000 (ending in September 2000 with a deficit of "only" $17.9 billion), but it never reached zero--let alone a positive surplus number.

And Clinton's last budget proposal for FY2001, which ended in September 2001, generated a $133.29 billion deficit. The growing deficits started in the year of the last Clinton budget, not in the first year of the Bush administration.
