Would love to see someone who thinks that because its Cameron, its too much money to spend on just those students. Yes, they should have had some trailers or tents because they are just second class citizens there. No doubt the execution of the plan by the Board was flawed, but the concept of the new building and the cost was approved by the voters. The previous school flooded from even a heavy rain, had no central air, had a gym from 70 years ago...Cameron high school is a good school (I am not an alum or resident) with a great history of education, community and sports. Their kids are just as important as your kids and have a right to education too. One thing about CHS that I have noticed is that it is an important part of the community in many ways, and expanding community access (for fitness is one) is a great thing. A lot of schools are locked up, but CHS is active in the community and vice versa. The school is a good thing, and people are worth the investment.

they must have changed the rules on balconies since they have a suspended walking track above the gym.all of our schools with balconies overlooking the gyms had to be boxed in so that nobody would get thrown off[even though for the first 50 years this never happened].i'd like to see a picture of it.

Big investment for less than 350 students.
