Well you got what you ask for....the Ohio Valley has been rid of the nasty steel making plants and the clickey clack rail tracks. Now bask in the sun with and economic base of what? You should be kissing the gas and oil industries feet. I remember living in East Wheeling back in the 40's when we had smoke spewing from all of the mills and how the Benwood furnances lit up the sky line at night. The busy railroads with the old steam engines blowing out smoke and soot. My grandparents lived on 18th St one block away from the tracks on 17th St. They lived long lives, we have become an antiseptic society....too*****clean and mean!

I am not a big fan of the gas operations in the Ohio Valley but why are people complaining now when the steel mills, coke plants, power plants, railroads, river boats, chemcical plants and other assorted factories were poisoning your air, your ground, your water and YOU for 100 years? Did you say anything about Weirton dumping sewage directly into the river? About chemical plants getting special permission to exceed water pollution levels? About local steel plants dumping waste and spewing black smoke?
I don't think the NG industry has been the big positive that some people claim. That said, MOST of the opposition is a form of sour grapes. Local people don't have gas rights, can't get jobs, don't own poorly built motels to rent, etc. so they complain and whine about those who do.

Non-condensable and trash pollutants do have to be burnt off from time to time as well as boil-off to reduce tank pressure.

I'm sure those who live near the "60,000 barrels per-day Houston, Pa. fractionation complex" will be thrilled with this news of more "rich gas liquids" coming their way.
