But he said the man's behavior was "not characteristic of someone firing a real firearm." How stupid is that statement?

What different behavorial characteristic would be consistent if it were a real firearm?

The sheeple are now spoofed by even the mention of a gun. Schools are locked down, police come out in droves, the media is on a feeding frenzy, and left wing deceivers are not letting any crisis go to waste.

The sheeple know not their history. If it wasn't for 'real' firearms, most people would either be suffering it out in some foreign land or still be in the jungles and plains of Africa beating on a bongo. Others might be living in tee-pees or have no scalp for which to keep their head warm.

The founding fathers knew the importance of guns. So much important it is a key "right" written in our nation's Constitution.

There may come a day when each person may need a gun. Let's hope not, but never say never. The sheeple lack the wisdom to fill a thi

It is an example of over reaction, but then we do what the media tells us we have to do. Its odd really, it was not a legit event, but no one wants to be the person who did not over react or the lazy TV people will ask do you not care about your kids, why didn't you go to lock down. So they lockdown schools, create some terror for kids who know because TV tells them that at any minute they will be murdered in their desk.. and so we create a nice piece of easy reporting with video of schools. Gun is the current buzzword of the media. Last week one local station reported that a gun show was going to be held in Morgantown, despite the shooting that occurred in Connecticut. How would those two things be related and what is the shock value of an outdoor show in WV to a crazy kid with his mother's guns shooting up the school? The giant leap that citizens cannot be trusted is made so easily, and again just lazy reporting leap frogging the current buzzword.

I laugh anytime someone uses the term "sheeple".

It the right's version of "have an open mind" or "wake up!" that translates into " your opinion is different from mine, and I want to insult you, but only lame cliches come to mind.

Should no one react when several people report seeing a subject with a gun, on the island, where more shootings happen than anywhere else in this city?

Hey, there is a gun, tucking a gun into his belt or coat, walking south towards the elementary school, we should probably take the kids towards this person. What kind of moron tries to turn a legitimate response into a gun owners rights issues? Oh, answered my own question.
