My daughter went to Park many years ago. At that time they were teaching How to keep house. How to baby sit. How to stock store shelves. And many more, that in my opinio were created to create teacher jobs. Of course, the more subjects, the more teachers. Then, of course more councelers, asst principals etc. It just keepe snoballing. More tax money wasted.

Some of the first programs to be cut were the voc-ed classes in the No Child Left Behind idea! NCLB has turned-out to be a waste of 10 good years of educational opportunity..

I don't think that Evans and Phares are claiming to come up with a new idea, but that it needs expanded upon and I agree. There are so many employment opportunities for people who work with their hands, and we are too hung up with pushing a college education on everyone, knowing that many can't cut it. ON top of that, it's expensive as heck. Ever try to get a plumber or appliance repairman, or a cobbler?

TAKING FALSE CREDIT
Vocational education has been part of the curriculum in County Schools for the past 50 years. long before Phares was appointed and much prior to "Buckwild" Evans'election,Marshall County embarked on relative vocational training programs.
