This coming from a guy from a state that is 50 miles from DC. The reason that the media demonizes the Congress for Obama is that Senators/Congressmen are supposed to be (by Constitution) beholding to the views of their constituents, not the President or their parties. So he marginalize the people who speak for the voters. Manchin has been to big dance with Rocky and he thinks he should stay there more. Obama has found Manchin is a sucker for his own image on TV and he loves being interviewed by the "big guys". How lame is his idea that it takes too much time traveling to meet with constituents? His can come over for lunch and be home for supper, not the ones in Oregon. Rocky never came home, he just had one in corner of WV, not far from DC but never came home, he was not a real mountaineer, ever. So, Joe, are you telling us that you have seen the bright lights of CNN and want to stay close in case they need a quote for their scripts? Mollohan never came home either.

Frankly, in this day and age of technology, there is no reason for them to go to Washington at all. Imaging the money the American people could save in travel expenses!

Manchin would do well to heed the old Japanese advice that, 'the nail that sticks up is pounded down'

Hey Joey, give up your job and move to D.C. I could care less seeing about seeing you. I have no faith in you or Rocky. Neither one of you has been any help to the citizens of WV. You both have turned on us and supported Obuma.
