Congratulations to Vincent and his West Liberty University mentor, Dr. Zach Loughman. Together they did great things in WLU biology lab and field work. Science is exciting stuff!

Great story NR. We need more like this to help inspire school aged kids.

Best of luck to this scientist in training!

Surrounded by peers who goof off, waste 6000 hours in 3 years playing video games, coast through school taking the easy Cs and Ds, and this young man had the maturity to invest that much free time into a project most would deem worthless, but many of his (potentially) future peers saw merit in. For those who did not do the math, 6,000 hours in 3 1/2 years is not so very far behind gulltime work, and is certainly more time than he spent sittng in the classroom during the same time frame.

No wonder the colleges are salivating at getting him signed up! He will be a tremendous asset to their research departments.

Great job and all the best to you for the future! Your parents have every reason to be proud of you.
