The BLS data shows that layoffs in August of last year were 97694. There were 66,214 laid off in September and 97,390 in October. It appears that the jump to well above 200,000 was BECAUSE Obama was elected!

From the Bureau of Labor Statistics (Google Mass Layoff Statistics BLS);

Total initial claimants November 2009 - 164,496

November 2010 - 158,048

November 2011 - 127,750

November 2012 - 249,949

I guess those near 1/4 million people laid off on Nov 2012 all happened on the 3 working days before the vote!!

November was by far the biggest layoff month of the year. Where was the media scrutiny??

Many CEOs who were not secure enough to announce definite lay-offs if Obama was re-elected faked doom & gloom in the run-up to the election. Most who announced definite lay-offs have backed-off without media scrutiny from the so-called liberal press since the election.
