"Putting 100 new employees on the payroll would cost about $2.4 million a year - while reducing overtime costs by at least $3.6 million, DeLong told authority members Thursday. That would translate to a net reduction of about $1.2 million."
That is $24,000 for paying the employee...need to add the cost of benefits (likely in the 30% range) for full time employees and then you will have the "real" cost of the 100 new employees.
When the goberment is managed by "political appointees!"
