RG Steel is on a FISHING EXPEDITION. They will come up empty on this. SnaplesOV I think you need to do some research. All the laws and regulations that apply to any other insurance company apply to HMO's.

Hi atoddh, good to see your name again...

To the subject: "RG's complaint states these errors continued until last summer and were only discovered because the steelmaker conducted an AUDIT of the plan."

I have one question---Why wasn't an ANNUAL AUDIT DONE, as in most businesses??? Not to mention a monthly review of financial records...

But RG should have REQUIRED a monthly statement and an ANNUAL AUDIT...

This is how good business is run...

Never trust an Insurer of anything; of Health Plans in particular...

snap:You are confused. It is Rennert who has rapped and shut down WP forever now.He is the beneficiary of all of this.Yes,true, the workers will never have an opportunity in steel again. But not the fault of the Health Plan. Actually care will suffer for all in the Health Plan now as WP was a big client in their pool. The steel payrolls were an important part of the Wheeling economy;now gone.If Ormet goes another big piece will go.Gas will not create the jobs( manufacturing did) once the wells and infrastructure are in place. The big landowners will get rich and depart.Wheeling will be at 20,000 or less by 2020.

And I should add even beyond disgusting a health "insurer" do this to our steel worker employees who've contributed so much here at home and to our great nation. They were forced out of work by all these free trade agreements. So atoddh you blaming them for this awful situation is a straight slap in the face. I'm ashamed to co exist in the steel valley with idiots like you.

Yeah that's not even close atoddh. Health plan is a disgrace. They don't pay doctors for services so they greedily line their pockets. The hard earned dollars of the people having hp are not returned via them getting the healthcare they deserve and pay for. An HMO can deny your care at anytime and you have no rights whatsoever. They are immune in the courts by being sued by a patient even if resulting in wrongful death. That's flat out disgusting. We deserve better.
