As Emanuel said-- Never let a crises go to waste. The Fed, State, County are sure angling. Get the money, while you can.

I like this part, "He said the levy could possibly fund other safety measures for the schools, but school officials do not have anything specific in mind yet." Sounds like more of the old give us the money and we'll find a way to spend it.

I reading news today I see where a man shot and killed a school bus driver and took a child off of the school bus; would a "resource officer" have prevented this? Most of us grew up with the adage "where there's a will, there's a way" and the idiots out there that belong behind stone walls will always come up with a scheme regardless of resource officer.

I would like to know where all the tax money from the fas drilling is going. Surely the county can cough up some of that for safety in schools rather than taxing people.

How long does it take to walk from one end of the B.P. school complex to the other?. I'm sure that at least 20 kids could be dead by then. Oh Well, it will create a job or two. ARM SCHOOL OFFICIALS, if necessary.

levies shouldn't be an issue in this.this is a federal government is a countrywide problem.obama has more important things to think of.
