Conservative, rightwing loners do the damage. Egged-on my Republican hate-mongers and fed by Rove/Hannity/Limbaugh, these pathetic rogue elements plot and execute violence against innocent liberal-minded people.

Even when they are locked up they don't get much time. The guy that stabbed his girlfriend once and me nine times last year was just sentenced last week on the 24th to 3-15 years. He will be out in two years with good behavior.
This kind of situation can happen anywhere. Just take a good look at people. mankind will do anything at times to anyone..some will do anything they can think up..when evil thoughts become the norm in daily life, of course more and more evil deeds appear...people grow up learning from their elders..so if many have disreguard for human life, they teach this to the young..soon over time more and more have never had reguard for human life..add in all the drugs in use today and is it any wonder there are so many nutty people..
Was to be in court for discharging a shotgun, beat a dog to death with an iron pipe; just how many signals do we need before we start locking up the idiots and ordering a mental evaluation? For those who think "resource officers" and gun control are the answers, I have a bridge in Brooklyn you might be interested in buying.
They THINK they come from the planet of moral superiority because they want to "help" others . . . by sticking their HAND via big government into YOUR pocket.
SO compassionate, SO caring, stealing from the "rich".
This kind of situation could happen here. Too many mentally unstable individuals are hardening their ammunition reserves and sinking into irreversible paranoid delusions of an apocalyptic showdown.
Thank goodness the N-R has this Comment column so the least stable elements of our community can vent their frustration before they harm others.
